The Executive Office of the Governor assists the Governor in the performance of his duties and responsibilities and helps to implement his goals and policies. The office also helps the Governor communicate his programs and initiatives to the executive agencies and citizens of Florida. Many of these priorities are described on the Governor's website.

The Governor's office administers two programs and provides general services to support office operations.

• Correctional Medical Authority
• Division of Emergency Management

The 2021 Legislature enacted Chapter 2021-164, Laws of Florida,  creating the Office of Reimagining Education and Career Help within the Executive Office of the Governor to facilitate alignment and coordination of entities responsible for the state's workforce system. The Governor appoints the office director.
